The short version
- Every calculation runs in your browser. The numbers you type into any calculator are never sent to our servers.
- We don't require accounts, and we never ask for your name, email or any personal detail to use the site.
- Like most free sites, we use analytics to understand which pages help people, and advertising to keep the site free. Both are described below.
Information we do not collect
CalculateVolume.org has no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment system. Calculator inputs (dimensions, measurements, results) are processed entirely by JavaScript on your device and are not transmitted, logged or stored by us. Preferences such as your chosen units and light/dark theme are saved in your browser's local storage only, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate usage statistics — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country/region level), and how the site performs. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.
Advertising
We display ads served by Google AdSense to keep every calculator free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Visitors in the EEA/UK are shown a consent dialog before any advertising cookies are set.

Contact form
If you email us or use the contact page, we receive whatever you choose to send (typically an email address and message). We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site is a general-audience reference tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; there is no mechanism on the site that asks for it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we hold essentially none, most requests are best directed at the third parties above — but if you contact us about data we do hold (such as an email you sent), we will honor access and deletion requests promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update this page and its date. Material changes (for example, a new analytics provider) are noted here explicitly.
